This performance is part of Juilliard's Future Stages, a four-concert series celebrating the 25th anniversary of the school's Center for Creative Technology.

SLICK, MUSIC, and MOVEMENT: an evening of music, dance, and installation.

Join us for a unique event that presents music, technology, dance, poetry, and more.

6pm, USF Barness Recital Hall - pre-event talk by Michael Hilton (engineer/scientist, creator of SLICK) and Leslie La Barre (composer)

7pm, CoTA courtyard north side - main event

This interdisciplinary event showcases technology, music, dance, and theater. Programming music and dance around the interactive sound installation, SLICK, the unique concert offers a rare opportunity to experience interdisciplinary performances by the USF percussion ensemble and the School of Music faculty Kevin von Kampen.

The program will present work by USF dance faculty Paula Nunez and music by Leslie La Barre, Vivian Fung, Anthony R. Green, and John Cage.

Experience the visceral sounds of ice and plastic alongside evocations of disappearing whalesong and bioluminescence, with the collective Tangram, our Associate Artists at LSO St Luke’s. Bringing together contemporary music from across four continents, Tangram presents a powerful reflection on the global issue of climate change. They perform a special programme of music by Liza Lim, George Crumb, Dai Fujikura, Chen Yi, Alex Ho and Sun Keting, alongside the world premiere of a new commission by Zhenyan Li.
